Taber Wetz & Chris Gauvin founded Local Fractional LLC in 2024 in order to build a boutique fractional offering for small to mid-sized companies focused on growth and scaling their businesses. Based in Dallas we began Local Fractional with the dba Dallas Fractional CFO to focus on our local market. But Local Fractional is more than just Dallas as our name implies so you will find us coast-to-coast scaling companies who are dedicated to growing and building with a fractional team.

Co-Founder, Taber Wetz, is a servant leader who thrives in both the startup and small, high-growth company environment. Taber thrives in entrepreneurial roles and enjoys visionaries and helping them achieve their goals. With over 20 years experience in executive roles within technology, energy, services and many other industries, Taber has gained valuable experience he shares with his clients and teams to help create growth and avoid pitfalls.
Beyond the boardroom, Taber is passionate about the outdoors and family life, whether hiking, skiing, or enjoying movie nights. He’s an active member of his community, engaged in his church and his children’s schools, and finds joy in neighborhood games like cornhole and bowling. Taber & his wife, Elizabeth, are both graduates from Oklahoma State University. Taber loves all things OSU orange and enjoys mentoring through the Spears School of Business.
